Description We are seeking a motivated and creative Marketing & Communications Intern to gain hands-on experience within the commercial real estate industry. This role offers exposure to multiple facets of marketing, tenant engagement, event production, and strategic partnerships across a dynamic mixed-use property environment. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and eager to learn how marketing strategy directly impacts tenant success, community engagement, and asset value. Job Summary: This part-time Marketing & Communications internship offers exposure to multiple facets of marketing, tenant engagement, event production, and strategic partnerships across a dynamic mixed-use property. Learning & Development Opportunities Interns will gain real-world experience managing deadlines, overseeing event execution, and understanding how marketing contributes to tenant retention, leasing success, and overall asset performance. This internship provides exposure to: Marketing strategy within commercial real estate. Budget development and cost management for events and activations. Vendor sourcing, contract coordination, and project management. Collaboration with property management and leasing teams. Tenant-focused marketing and experiential programming. Brand positioning for mixed-use developments. What You’ll Gain: Hands-on leadership experience managing an event from start to finish. Direct exposure to commercial real estate marketing operations. Job Duties and Responsibilities: Event Curation & Production Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of property-wide events and activations. Support event logistics including vendor coordination, timelines, run-of-show documents, and on-site management. Lead the marketing and execution of at least one event from concept to completion. Tenant Relations Support communication between property management, leasing, and tenants. Assist in coordinating tenant participation in property events and promotions. Help strengthen business-to-business engagement across the property. Marketing, Public Relations & Social Media Assist in developing social media content calendars and campaigns. Support content creation including captions, photography coordination, and on-site coverage. Draft press releases and assist with public relations outreach. Track engagement metrics and assist in campaign reporting. Community Engagement & Strategic Partnerships Research and identify potential community partners and brand collaborators. Assist in executing partnership initiatives and cross-promotions. Support district-wide marketing initiatives and signature programming. Requirements Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business, Hospitality, or related field. Strong organizational and communication skills. Interest in events, branding, real estate, and community development. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively.
Responsibilities
