EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • Associate degree or bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience in marketing or a related field.
  • 1-2years of experience working with social media channels specific to a brand or business
  • Proven working experience in social media, particularly within the entertainment industry.
  • Demonstrable experience leading and managing social media campaigns.
  • Proficient in social media research and engagement analysis.
  • Photography, Videography, Graphic Design and Video Editing skills a plus
Responsibilities

PURPOSE OF THE JOB

The Content Marketing Specialist is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing social media communication that promotes Freeman Arts Pavilion and Joshua M. Freeman Foundation initiatives. This position plays a major role in enhancing our brand awareness within the digital space as well as driving website traffic and acquiring patrons, donors, and sponsors. This role is key in maintaining brand integrity, customer service and creative asset development.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support and manage the overall social media communications plan for Freeman Arts Pavilion.
  • Work with JMFF staff to create engaging copies, image, and video content for social media campaigns to raise public awareness, drive participation, increase engagement, and educate about JMFF initiatives.
  • Identify target audiences and social media outreach opportunities for upcoming shows, including promotions, content sharing and partnerships.
  • Interact with audiences and other stakeholders via our social media accounts in a voice consistent with our brand and relevant to the social media channel or digital platform.
  • Implement onsite social posting at key events, including evenings and weekends.
  • Measures, analyzes, and reports performance of all social media marketing campaigns
  • Identifies social media trends and insights within the entertainment and nonprofit arts sector, as well as general social media trends
  • Brainstorms new and creative growth strategies through social media
  • Collaborates with agencies and other vendor partners.
  • Provides thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate.
  • Document Arts Access Initiative, fundraising events, and Freeman Arts performances, including consumer experience and performance archive
