Job Title: Part‑Time Marketing Executive (Restaurant)
Hours: ~20 hours/week (flexible schedule to support evenings/weekends as needed)

We’re a growing, Neighbourhood restaurant and cocktail bar, passionate about great food, memorable experiences, and staying ahead of the latest food trends. We’re looking for a creative and driven individual to help amplify our voice and attract more diners.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage the social media strategy: create and schedule engaging content across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X, etc.
- Stay on top of current food trends—from viral dishes and ingredient combos to presentation styles—and translate them into standout social content and campaigns.
- Plan, build and send email‑marketing campaigns: newsletters, promotions, reminders, drip campaigns; segment mailing lists; track open/click rates and improve engagement.
- Write compelling captions, design posts (via Canva or equivalent), and craft emails that reflect our brand tone and call customers to action.
- Monitor and report on campaign performance using analytics tools; suggest optimisations.
- Engage with our online community: respond to comments/messages, encourage user‑generated content, monitor reviews.
- Work with the kitchen or front‑of‑house team to promote special events, limited‑time menus, seasonal offerings.
- Coordinate occasional photo shoots or collaborations with food influencers and local press.
- Provide input into brand identity and ensure consistent messaging across all digital channels.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience or strong interest in social media marketing, particularly in hospitality or restaurants
- Solid grasp of food‑related trends on platforms like Instagram and TikTok—and how to turn them into engaging content
- Familiarity with email marketing tools or CRMs, and knowledge of segmentation, drip campaigns, A/B testing, performance metrics
- Excellent writing skills and storytelling ability—able to create captions, newsletters, micro‑copy that convert
- Creative thinker with an eye for design—comfortable using Canva, or similar tools; video editing experience is a plus
- Strong organisational skills, ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
- Genuine passion for food, dining culture, and hospitality
- A positive, proactive, and collaborative attitude
