  • Minimum 1 year of experience working with infants (aged 2–18 months)
  • Certificate or Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education or Infant Care (ECDA-recognised)
  • Familiarity with or training in the Montessori approach (Montessori Infant/Toddler certification is an advantage but not mandatory)
  • Gentle, patient, and responsive in caregiving
  • Able to work part-time hours (morning or afternoon shifts available; schedule to be discussed)
  • Team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

ROLE OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing Part-Time Infant Care Montessori Teacher to join our team. This role is ideal for experienced infant educarers who believe in the Montessori philosophy and wish to work in a flexible, supportive environment. You will support infants’ holistic development through meaningful interactions and age-appropriate activities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide safe, responsive, and respectful caregiving to infants
  • Guide infants in sensory, motor, and early social development using Montessori-aligned practices
  • Create a calm, orderly, and engaging environment for exploration and learning
  • Support routines such as feeding, diapering, and naptime in accordance with ECDA regulations
  • Observe and document each infant’s growth and learning journey
  • Communicate with families regularly and respectfully
  • Collaborate with fellow team members and centre leaders to maintain high standards of care
