Description POSTOAK Lodge & Retreat is looking for a Part-Time Night Audit to join our team! A Night Audit functions as overnight guest service representative and completes night audit functions. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Answers phone calls, answering questions, and taking reservations from guests. Manages guest check in and out. Maintains knowledge of all conference services, BEO’s, room sets, guest relations, and guest requests. Repetitive heavy lifting of room set ups Inputs final numbers and reconciles banquet checks to Banquet Event Orders. Ensures rate accuracy and correct folio distribution. Generates, organizes, and files and distributes daily reports to management. Sets up and tears down rooms and occasional off-site catering. Setting up chairs, tables, AV equipment, and other equipment as needed for events. Keeps service corridors, public spaces, and storage areas clean, organized and unobstructed. Cleans indoor and outdoor banquet rooms after events, including straightening chairs, clearing dirty dishes and glassware from tables, changing soiled table linen, vacuuming floors, cleaning walls, windows, and mirrors, removing trash and restocking materials. Ability to understand and prioritize all guest/client requests/needs and communicates these to appropriate associates or staff. Communicates effectively with all other departments in order to maintain clean and safe grounds for all guests. Qualifications: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be able to work overnights. Must be able to lift heavy, awkward equipment.
