We are a 4* privately owned Hotel on the outskirts of Swindon with 108 bedrooms, 3 Bars, 2 Restaurants, extensive Conference & Banqueting facilities, Leisure Club & Secrets Beauty Salon.
We are a busy venue with corporate delegates, leisure guests, celebrations events, Christmas Parties, Weddings and much more. We are currently looking for a Part Time Night Porter to join our team.
You will be required to work at weekends mainly Fri & Saturday nights (with flexibility to take on occasional additional shifts in the week). Shift hours will be 11pm - 7am

REQUIREMENTS:

• To have excellent customer service skills
• To ensure that Conference and Banqueting rooms are set to the required layout inline with the Night Managers instructions.
• To ensure cleanliness of public areas are kept to a high standard
• To deliver Room Service to guest rooms
• To assist guests with luggage
• To be responsible for the security of Hotel and guests overnight, ensuring safety of staff and guests at all times.
• Implement and maintain the Statutory and Company standards of hygiene, health and safety, Fire Safety at all times and take any action as is necessary.
• A keen eye for detail
• The ability to work, understand and adhere to four star standards
• The ability to work alone and as part of a team
• Good communication skills
• Exceptional organisational skills
• Previous experience in a similar role would be an advantage
• To have a great personality and be genuine, approachable and attentive.
