The Company: Meadowbrook Village Christian Retirement Community is a non-profit organization in Escondido that opened in 2009. We are licensed as a Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) and offer independent, assisted living, memory care, and skilled nursing services. We seek to help our residents age in place as we strive toward of mission to "Honor God by serving others with love and compassion."   Available Shifts: NOC Shift 11PM to 7:30AM Wednesdays and Thursdays  Preferred start date - 4/1/2026       Job Description: We're looking for compassionate and dependable individuals who take joy in providing excellent, personalized care for those struggling with a temporary set-back or with the regular difficulties of aging. Our team of caregivers, seek not only accurate care but also enriching personal interactions for our residents. Residents and their families often comment that they love our staff's friendliness and dedication -- and we're looking for more people who share that mindset. Caregivers work mostly one-on-one with our residents to assist with activities of daily living, occasional light housekeeping for residents, escorting to/from meals, medication management services, and other various assisted living services as needed. We have caregivers on campus 24/7 to provide these services and to respond to resident emergencies. Qualifications: To be successful in this position, candidates must... * be able to pass a criminal background check, drug screening, and basic physical exam * seek excellence in care, even in the little things we do for residents * maintain professionalism in following HIPAA standards and in promoting resident dignity * be able to work independently and as part of a team * be willing to work on weekends and holidays as needed Prior experience as a professional caregiver for seniors is preferred
Responsibilities
Caregivers will primarily work one-on-one with residents to assist with activities of daily living, light housekeeping, escorting to meals, medication management, and other necessary assisted living services. They must also be available 24/7 on campus to respond to resident emergencies.
