Description
  The Billing Admin plays a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of the organization's billing processes. This position is responsible for managing invoicing, processing payments, and maintaining detailed financial records to support the company’s revenue cycle. The Billing Admin collaborates closely with internal departments such as sales, finance, and customer service to resolve billing discrepancies and answer client inquiries. By maintaining compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements, this role helps safeguard the company’s financial integrity. Ultimately, the Billing Admin contributes to a seamless billing operation that supports customer satisfaction and business growth. This position is Part Time up to 25 hours per week.  Minimum Qualifications: * High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or higher in business, finance, or related field preferred. * At least 2 years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, or related administrative roles. * Proficiency with billing software and Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel. * Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial data. * Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and internal teams. Preferred Qualifications: * Experience with ERP or accounting systems such as QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle. * Knowledge of relevant billing regulations and compliance standards. * Prior experience in a customer-facing role within a billing or finance department. * Ability to analyze billing trends and generate reports to support management decisions. * Certification in billing or accounting (e.g., Certified Billing Specialist) is a plus. Responsibilities: * Prepare and issue accurate invoices to clients in a timely manner according to contract terms and company policies. * Review billing data for completeness and accuracy, identifying and resolving discrepancies or errors. * Process incoming payments and update accounts receivable records accordingly. * Communicate with customers and internal teams to address billing questions, disputes, or adjustments. * Maintain organized and up-to-date billing documentation and financial records for audit and reporting purposes. * Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities related to billing and revenue recognition. * Support continuous improvement initiatives to optimize billing workflows and systems. Skills: The Billing Admin uses strong organizational and analytical skills daily to ensure billing accuracy and resolve discrepancies efficiently. Proficiency in billing software and Excel enables the candidate to manage invoicing and payment processing with precision. Effective communication skills are essential for collaborating with customers and internal departments to clarify billing issues and maintain positive relationships.
