JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Office Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills and a solid background in administrative tasks. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of our office, providing support to staff and members, and maintaining efficient office procedures. The 8 hours will be spread over two days.

EXPERIENCE

  • Previous office experience is essential, with a focus on administrative roles
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace and Xero is required
  • Strong typing skills with attention to detail in data entry tasks
  • Demonstrated organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
  • Previous clerical experience will be considered an asset
    Job Type: Part-time
    Pay: £5,000.00-£5,500.00 per year
    Expected hours: No less than 8 per week

Responsibilities
  • Manage daily office operations, ensuring a welcoming and organised environment
  • Handle incoming calls with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette
  • Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently
  • Maintain filing systems, both electronic and paper-based, ensuring all documents are easily accessible
  • Process invoices and manage accounts using Xero
  • Support to Flag Officers and Board members with clerical tasks as needed, including typing correspondence and managing schedules
  • Coordinate meetings and appointments, ensuring all necessary materials are prepared in advance
