York Funeral Home Ltd. is seeking a Part-Time Office Assistant.

Responsibilities

JOB PURPOSE

Provide superior customer service and ensure customer satisfaction. The incumbent will assist in duties surrounding the office at the funeral home. They will need to be able to work Monday- Friday from 12 pm to 5 pm.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Offer comfort and superior customer service to bereaved families and friends of the deceased
  • Greet families and guest as they enter the building
  • Provide necessary funeral service information and options to customers
  • Contact newspaper to provide details of services as required
  • Perform data entry, documentation, printing and filing
  • Relay customer quality improvement suggestions
  • Answer telephones
  • Attend immediately to customer complaints or concerns
  • Perform other duties as required
