What You'll Do: Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and authorizations for entry in accordance with site-specific policies and procedures. Assist visitors, employees, and contractors by providing clear information regarding access protocols and facility guidelines. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and security-related incidents. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and escalating issues as necessary. Document and report all access control activities, incidents, and irregularities in a timely and accurate manner. Support emergency response activities as directed, working cooperatively with onsite personnel and Allied Universal management. Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential security-related threats and promote a secure environment at the location. Minimum Requirements: It is preferred that applicants are able to lift up to 20 pounds. It is preferred that applicants possess a guard card or license. It is preferred that applicants have CPR and first aid certification. It is preferred that applicants are comfortable using a computer or tablet. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
