JOB ROLE:

Run4It has a clear purpose: Inspiring people to improve their fitness, health and wellbeing through running. Operating as a multi-channel retailer, Run4It aims to utilise its resources to the best of its ability in order to provide customers with an exceptional shopping experience.
A critical component of Run4It’s operation is our online channel, run4it.com. The Customer Service and Logistics Assistant will work within the team who have responsibility for delivering exceptional customer service and the best possible experience to all customers who come into contact with us out-with our shops. These contacts may be through engagements on multiple channels, concerned with a range of queries including those relating to online orders and returns.
Reporting directly to the Customer Service & Logistics Manager and based out of our Glasgow office, this role requires a commitment to exceptional customer service and standards. It also requires a commitment to following processes with a high degree of accuracy, delivering efficiency and understanding commercial value. This role will also involve communication directly with customers and with other departments across the business.
A knowledge of running and running products is desirable. Previous customer service experience in an administrative or online setting would also be preferable.

THE KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE CUSTOMER SERVICE & LOGISTICS ASSISTANT ARE TO ASSIST WITH:

  • Delivering exceptional customer service, through all channels of customer communication. Including email, telephone and through our communications portal.
  • Understanding and staying true to Run 4 It’s brand tone of voice, culture, vision and values when engaging with team members and customers.
  • Providing a prompt fulfilment service with high standards of presentation and care and ensuring that all Run4It fulfilment locations are doing the same.
  • Being diligent with stock, making sure that it is processed correctly, organised, neatly stored, accurate and taken care of.
  • Stock logistics management - through processing deliveries and intershop transfers.
  • Ensuring customer returns are monitored and processed in a timely manner to provide our customers with a good returns experience.
  • Understanding product information and promotions for customer service purposes.
