Description The responsibility of the community Security Guard is to patrol the premises of community, including interior and exterior, detect and report concerning activity, assist residents, team members and visitor and ensure the safety the overall safety of the community’s residents. Responsibilities: Inspect and patrol premises regularly Monitor property entrance Authorize entrance of people and vehicles Report any suspicious behaviors and happenings Secure all exits, doors and windows Monitor surveillance cameras Respond to alarms and react in a timely manner Provide assistance to people in need Submit reports of daily surveillance activity Submit reports of every suspicious action Adheres to all policies and procedures of Cadence Senior Living. Other responsibilities and duties as assigned. Requirements Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent. Experience: Previous safety experience; working with the older adults preferred. Good verbal and written communication skills. Pleasant personality. Able to work independently and follow scheduled plans. Maintain composure in stressful situations.
