H/K/B Cosmetic Surgery has an exciting opportunity for a Part-time PACU RN to join our upscale plastic surgery center in Huntersville, NC! This position would be 2 days a week, about 16-20 hours a week, between the hours of 8:00 am - 8:00 pm. A bit about the position:  Providing PACU coverage to 2 patients at a time; assisting with OR turnover, stocking supplies and daily perioperative tasks for surgical case preparation. What you can expect in this role: * Monitoring post-operative patients who are in the immediate phases of recovery from a surgical procedure through discharge. * Monitor vital signs, level of consciousness, perform dressing changes, administer necessary medications. * Assess overall status and educate patients and their families about home care instructions. * Proper EMR documentation. What we are looking for in a candidate: * Associate's degree required. Bachelor's degree preferred. * Valid RN license required. * 2 years of RN experience. PACU experience required.  * Preop experience preferred.  * Equivalent combination of school and work experience. * Self-driven, able to work as part of a team and motivated for a fast-paced environment. * Critical thinking skills and ability to concentrate. * Must be able to respond quickly to changes in patient and/or unit conditions.
