Description St Henry Catholic Church has an opening for a Part-time Parish Catechetical Leader to assist the Pastor with developing, coordinating, supervising, and executing all operations of the Religious Education and Youth Ministry programs for the parish. Applicant must be an initiated Catholic in good standing with three to five years’ experience in Catholic catechist/teaching and one-year administrative experience. A Bachelor’s degree in Theology, Religious Education or related educational field is preferred. Candidates must have good leadership skills, an active faith life, ability to work collaboratively with others, experience in areas of responsibility in ministry, computer skills and experience in developing programs to meet assessed needs. Applicants must be a fully initiated, active Catholic in good standing with the Church, dependable and responsible in carrying out duties and responsibilities and able to meet deadlines. Occasional weekend and evening work required.

Responsibilities

The Parish Catechetical Leader will assist the Pastor in developing, coordinating, supervising, and executing all operations related to the Religious Education and Youth Ministry programs for the parish. This role requires active participation in ministry areas and ensuring programs meet assessed needs.
