POSITION SUMMARY We are looking for a Part- Time Patient Services Representative (PSR) who would be responsible for greeting and checking in patients, scheduling appointments and following through with the checkout process. The PSR will also assist with office duties as needed. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Greet and welcome patients in a professional and friendly manner Check in patients and address any individual needs or concerns Verify and collect insurance information, co-pays, deductibles, and outstanding balances Support administrative tasks and maintain accurate patient records Cross-trained to assist with medical assistant duties as needed Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned Requirements QUALIFICATIONS/ EDUCATION/ CRITICAL SKILLS High school diploma or GED required Minimum of 2 years in a healthcare position preferred Good verbal and written communication skills Basic knowledge of computers and office equipment Patient-focused with the ability to work independently Capability to adapt quickly and thrive in a fast-paced environment SCHEDULING: Monday 3:00 pm-5:30 pm Wednesday 3:00 pm - 5:30 pm Friday 8:00 am -5:00 pm Two Saturdays a month: 8:00 am - 12:30 pm PHYSICAL DEMANDS/ ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS: This job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee.
