POSITION SUMMARY We are seeking a Patient Services Representative (PSR) to join our team at our Rush Downtown location. This role is vital to creating a positive first impression and ensuring a seamless patient experience. The PSR is responsible for greeting and checking in patients, scheduling appointments, assisting with the check-out process, and supporting day-to-day front office operations. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Greet and welcome patients in a professional and friendly manner Check in patients and address any individual needs or concerns Verify and collect insurance information, co-pays, deductibles, and outstanding balances Support administrative tasks and maintain accurate patient records Cross-trained to assist with medical assistant duties as needed Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned Requirements QUALIFICATIONS/ EDUCATION/ CRITICAL SKILLS 1-2 years of experience working in a professional medical office environment responsible for the front desk, or similar role High school diploma or GED required Good verbal and written communication skills Basic knowledge of computers and office equipment Patient-focused with the ability to work independently Capability to adapt quickly and thrive in a fast-paced environment SCHEDULING: Must have flexibility: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday PHYSICAL DEMANDS/ ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS: This job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee.
