Pediatric Physical Therapist (Part-Time) Reports to: Clinic Director Healthcare setting: Clinic Medical specialties: Pediatrics Work Location: On-site Position Summary: We are seeking Pediatric Physical Therapists who are committed to promoting motor development, mobility, and overall physical function while creating a welcoming environment that supports every child and family. Requirements * Licensed Physical Therapist * Bachelor level degree or above * Licensed in the state of Missouri * Criminal Background Check * Must be able to obtain and maintain a CPR certification * Preferred 1-2 years of experience working with the pediatric population * Valid Driver’s License & Evidence of Insurability * Collaborative team member * Enthusiastic and ethical * Enjoy working with children * Professional and works with integrity * Ability to bend, kneel, crouch, and spend time on your feet as well as an ability to lift items up to 25 lbs on occasion Responsibilities * Conduct physical therapy evaluations of clients referred to physical therapy * Conduct re-evaluations of patients on a regular basis, as recommended * Conduct 1:1 sessions according to individual needs * Participate in staff meetings and conferences indicated to review progress * Provide assistance to staff regarding concerns pertaining to physical therapy and assist staff in maintaining open communication with parents concerning physical therapy problems * Operate all therapy equipment according to manufacturers and clinic guidelines * Prepare reports of evaluation and reevaluations * Prepare other reports relative to physical therapy * Maintain accurate records of services provided for statistical and billing purposes * Maintain current daily notes * Assist with program development * Plan and conduct special education programs related to physical therapy for staff and the community upon request * Attend meetings and training as requested * Adhere to policies and procedures of Children With Opportunity * Assist in providing a safe environment for all patients and staff * Assist with problem solving to improve efficiency within the clinic * Portray a positive attitude and maintain a customer and coworker satisfaction level that limits adverse situations or complaints * Promote clinic philosophies, generating team spirit and creating and maintaining an environment that fosters staff satisfaction, maximizes productivity and profitability Job Type: Part-time (up to 24 hours per week) Pay: $45.00 per hour Availability: Potential to float and support other locations as needed Benefits * 401(k) Retirement Plan * 401(k) Matching * Telehealth * Employee Assistance Plan * Flexible Schedule * Collaborative work environment NOTE: The preceding statements describe the nature and level of assignments normally given job incumbents.
