Location: Ocracoke, NC Schedule: Part-time Pay: $17–$19/hour We’re on the lookout for a friendly, detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to support our busy, mission-driven pharmacy. What You'll Do: Support Patients: Greet and assist patients in person and on the phone with warmth and professionalism. Process Prescriptions: Enter data, prepare medications, and label/package with care and accuracy. Stay Organized: Keep supplies stocked, manage files, and help maintain a smooth workflow. Be Tech-Savvy: Use pharmacy software to handle prescriptions and insurance claims. Pitch In: Collaborate with your team and take on other duties as needed. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent At least 1 year of relevant experience Pharmacy Technician Certification
Responsibilities
The Pharmacy Technician will be responsible for greeting and assisting patients both in person and over the phone, while accurately processing prescriptions by entering data and preparing medications for dispensing. They will also maintain organization by stocking supplies, managing files, and utilizing pharmacy software for claims.
