Your Role: You will perform general laboratory maintenance duties as well as cell biology experiments and assays including (but not limited to) transfections, flow cytometry, and luciferase expression in cells in vitro and generation of recombinant viruses such as lentivirus and adeno-associated virus (AAV). Supporting molecular biology assays include (but are not limited to) ELISAs and dPCR. We are seeking a part-time employee to support the R&D Biology Team with laboratory and computer-related tasks. Who You Are Minimum Qualifications: High school graduate Preferred Qualifications: An interest in cell and gene therapy Biology background or interest in learning biology Previous experience with small volume pipetting (eg. 1 µl) Previous experience with cell culture and/or sterile technique Pay Range for this position: $12.00-$25.00 an hour The offer range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base pay compensation for this position. The actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level of experience, education, skills, and other job-related factors.
