Key responsibilities of the role include

• Patient consultations
• Chronic Disease Management. Working with patients to mange conditions such as asthma and diabetes through regular reviews and education.
• Health Promotion: Promoting healthy life styles, providing family planning advice, immunisations etc
• Collaborating with GPs to provide high quality care for patients.
• Health education and advice to patients on a range of topics, such as healthy living and disease prevention.
• Chronic disease management, Asthma, Diabetes, COPD etc.
• Cervical cytology
• Baby and Childhood immunisations
• Wound care
