JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a part-time passionate and dedicated Educator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment for children. This role requires creativity, patience, and the ability to engage with students effectively. The Educator will be responsible for developing and implementing curriculum that meets the diverse needs of students while promoting their social, emotional, and academic growth.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
  • Experience working with children in various settings such as daycare, preschool, or private schools is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and effective teaching strategies.
  • Familiarity with curriculum development and lesson planning tailored for diverse learners.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and staff members.
  • Experience in behavior management techniques and classroom management practices.
  • Ability to provide individualized support for students with varying needs, including those requiring special education services.
  • Experience with Montessori materials and Reggio Emilia teaching philosophy a plus.
    Job Type: Part-time
    Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
    Expected hours: 12 – 23 per week

  • Document student progress and communicate effectively with families regarding their child’s development.
