Seriously Addictive Mathematics (S.A. M) – The world’s largest Singapore Math enrichment programme for children aged 4 to 12 years old.
At S.A.M, we know children learn math better when they truly understand the concepts before learning the procedures. Our multi-award-winning S.A.M thinking math programme has helped children not only to excel in math but also to develop thinking skills and problem-solving skills to prepare them to take on future challenges. We offered mixed level classes for small group up to 4 students and single level class up to 10 students.
We are currently looking for part-time Math trainers to join us at Pasir Ris centre.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum Diploma/ A levels graduate and above with good math academic records
  • Enjoy working with children and passionate about supporting students
  • Have some teaching experience either in tuition centre or home tuition setting
  • Good understanding of MOE Syllabus
  • Tech-savvy for online lesson will be an advantage
  • Good interpersonal skill and communication skill
  • Have a positive attitude
    Candidates with prior teaching experience will have an advantage

Responsibilities
  • Conduct pre-school and primary math lessons in an engaging way to develop students’ critical thinking, logical reasoning and problem-solving skills to tackle math with total confidence using S.A.M curriculum
  • Plan, develop and prepare teaching materials and resources prior to lesson
  • Marking of students’ assignments and support them in preparation for school’s weighted assessment or end-of-year paper
  • Build good rapport and foster positive relationships with both parents and students
  • Provide regular updates to both students and parents on students’ progress and math competency
  • Establish a work plan to support each individual student’s growth to support their learning journey at our centres
