Join us as a Produce Clerk! We are looking for an energetic, community-oriented and experienced individual to work as a Produce Clerk at our Chestnut Hill location. This position is part-time with an anticipated 20-29 hours per week. Open availability is preferred. If you have experience working in a team setting and a passion for great customer service, then we want to hear from you! Responsibilities Include: Receive product deliveries, ensuring order and invoice accuracy. Stock, rotate, and cull produce as necessary Maintaining back-stock areas according to department standards. Maintaining produce displays Assist other clerks as needed. Perform other duties as assigned to meet business needs. Other duties as assigned by department head. Maintains safe work environment according to all department procedures, federal and state regulations. Wears protective clothing as required for position. Understands and utilizes safe lifting procedures and proper step stools. Requirements Open availability preferred. A commitment to the mission and goals of Weavers Way Co-op. Proven customer service or retail experience is a plus. Great attention to detail. Good communication and people skills. The ability to lift up to 50 lbs. The ability to remain standing for extended periods of time, up to 8 hours. Be, or become upon hiring, a member in good standing of Weavers Way Co-op.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include receiving product deliveries, ensuring accuracy, stocking, rotating, and culling produce, and maintaining back-stock areas and displays according to department standards. The clerk will also assist other staff and perform other duties as assigned to meet business needs while maintaining a safe work environment.
