Description Kimberton Whole Foods in Wyomissing is looking for a part-time Produce Stocker! Set Schedule: Part-time, up to 24 hours per week. Mondays 6:30am-3pm or 12pm-8:30pm Fridays 8am-4:30pm or 12pm-8:30pm Saturdays 6:30am-3:00pm or 7am-3:30pm Pay: $15- $17/hr depending on experience Age Requirement: Must be 18 years or older. Benefits: Part-time team members are eligible for a 15% store discount after 60 days and a 401K with matching 3% after one year and 1000 hours worked. The Produce Socker’s Primary Responsibilities: Provide exceptional customer service to all. Receiving and stocking all incoming fresh produce and related items. Rotating fresh produce on a first-in first-out basis. Working in collaboration with the Produce Department head to maintain accurate and up-to-date product signage throughout the entire department. Follows the established KWF SOP for maintaining abundant, dynamic and fresh displays throughout the entire department. Understands KWF inventory management practices. Requirements PHYSICAL CAPABILITIES: Full sense range (vision, hearing and sense of smell) – the ability to read product labels, distinguish color & smell for quality control as well as the ability to communicate with the customers and co-workers. Lifting, gripping and carrying objects – up to 50-75 pounds frequently, including boxes, cans, tools and other products. Stooping, squatting, & kneeling – stoop and maneuver to pick up boxes from shelving and carts. Walking – short distances to bring items from miscellaneous areas. Standing- prolonged standing. Work environment – movement based with the majority of time being in motion (walking & standing) rather that sedentary (sitting). Climate – ability to work in cold environments (cooler, Freezer, back stock area) and handle cold products for extended periods of time on a regular basis.
Responsibilities
The Produce Stocker is responsible for receiving, stocking, and rotating fresh produce while providing exceptional customer service. They also collaborate with the department head to maintain accurate signage and abundant, fresh displays.
