JOB SUMMARY
The Education & Tutoring Program at Ronald McDonald House Charities Philadelphia Region (RMHC Philly) provides individualized and small group educational support and tutoring to children ages 5-18 staying in the House. Students enrolled in the program include child patients and siblings staying at the House for the duration of medical treatment at local hospitals.
The Part-Time Professional Educator will instruct as well as collaborate with the program’s coordinator and team consisting of volunteers and student interns. This position will also plan, implement, and oversee the individualized sessions, while collaborating with the team to help plan and implement the new Audrey’s Scholars Camp Program (an ACA accredited program that brings academics and Social Emotional Learning together in a one room schoolhouse format).
