Date Schedule Mode of Delivery Language January 11- April 14, 2027 Tuesdays 9AM - 12PM (B) and Thursdays 9AM – 12 PM (A) 000: In person EN Course description IPA 6139 Internal Practicum Individual Counselling and Psychotherapy III (Part 2 of 2): Consolidation of advanced skills. Some of the topics covered: psychological and spiritual coping strategies, emotional-spiritual bypassing, trauma and the brain, dissociation, panic disorder with or without agoraphobia, the individuation process and human aging, the search for meaning, bereavement, the use of ritual in psychotherapy, anger, preparation for starting a private practice, safe and effective use of the self, self-awareness and self-compassion. Includes 6 hours of theoretical and practical learning, applied clinical exercises, as well as an average of 5 hours of clinical practice (practicum) and 2 to 3 hours of supervision per week. Graded P/F. Prerequisite: IPA6138. Required experience and qualifications: * Graduate degree (minimum an MA in Counselling, Psychotherapy or related field). * Registration with a professional College. * Significant clinical experience relevant to program concentrations (i.e. working with couples and families, working with adult clients). * Relevant pedagogical skills for teaching the Practicum and ability to coordinate with the clinical supervisors. * Passive command of the second official language is required. * Sensitivity to cultural differences and the concerns presented by students. * Facility with online learning tools Please submit your application (letter of intent and CV) online using the job posting system, by June 28, 2026, 11:59 PM.
