JOB DESCRIPTION:

The School of Information Technology is looking for qualified Part-time professors (6 hours and under per week) to teach courses in the following areas:

• System Z Cobol Programming
• Information Systems/Information Technology (IS/IT) Analysis
• Scripting for Web Security
• Wireless and Mobile Development
• Programming Fundamentals
• Windows Operating Systems
• Networking
• O/S Applications Security
• Digital Forensics
• Data Analytics

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Post-secondary diploma/degree in Information Technology or a related area
• Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in area of expertise

• An equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered

• A combination of excellent leadership and teaching skills with a strong commitment to academic excellence and student success

• Excellent communicator with strong interpersonal and presentation skills

• Ability to relate effectively to a wide variety of learners
• Strong computer skills and familiarity with educational technologies are required
• Teaching experience with hybrid and/or online delivery preferred
• Related industry work experience, previous college teaching experience and knowledge of curriculum design and student evaluations are assets
