Description Position: Program Assistant Opening: 1 Position Type: Part-Time Contract Location: 100% in office Clearance: Active Secret What You’ll Do: Responsible for documents development in compliance with standard templates, coordinating document revisions with stakeholder organizations, updating tracking logs, and communications with stakeholder organizations, and the program owner. Location: The position is 100% on-site in Arlington, VA. Responsibilities Include, but not limited to: Respond to scheduling guidance from designated DSCU personnel within 12 hours, providing timely and accurate information regarding availability and logistics. Assist designated DSCU personnel with meeting planning and preparation, including scheduling, preparing read-ahead materials (including biographical data on new contacts and identifying who else should be informed of the meeting), and coordinating logistics. Participate in special projects when required, providing administrative support and project management assistance as directed by the DSCU leadership Team. Track the status of all lines of effort, maintain the relevant documentation, and provide regular updates to the leadership Team. Support course development, curriculum documentation, class organization, and execution. Coordinate guest speakers, panels, briefings and consultations with guidance from DSCU. Provide support to practical and field exercises. Work in conjunction with the library to effectively find relevant research in library databases and share the research with others in ways that lower the risk of copyright violations. Review and revise DSCU course materials based on research to ensure currency of content and external links. Requirements Requirements Must have five (5) years’ experience in the managing of government projects and workflow management projects. This experience must include development and presenting of status reports, development of tracking logs, communications with stakeholders. Ability to multi-task with minimal supervision in a highly visible and high operational tempo organization. Security Clearance Requirements: This position requires you to have an active Secret Clearance. A government background investigation will be conducted on selected applicants to determine whether they qualify for access to classified information.
