Hong Kong Institute of Educational Research Part-time Project Assistant II The appointee will be responsible for (a) delivering administrative and operational support to academic programmes; (b) assisting in secretarial and operational tasks of the Institute; (c) supporting the Institute’s events and academic activities; (d) handling enquiries from various stakeholders and external parties; and (e) performing other tasks as assigned by the supervisors. Working at non-office hours or at weekend may be required. Applicants should have (i) completed secondary education or above; (ii) Grade E/Level 2 or above in at least 5 subjects in HKCEE, including Chinese and English (Syllabus B); OR any combination of results in at least 5 HKDSE subjects (including Level 2 or above in Chinese and English): Level 2 or above in NSS subjects, “Attained” or above in ApL subjects (subject to a maximum of 2 subjects), and Grade E or above in Other Language subjects; (iii) fast and accurate English and Chinese word-processing skill; (iv) a good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese; (v) good computer skills in MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint); (vi) strong interpersonal, communication and organisational skills; and (vii) a self-motivated work attitude and a strong sense of responsibility. Having proficiency in multimedia design software and experience in handling social media accounts will be an advantage. Appointment will initially be made on a 1-year contract, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
