Description
Office of Admissions and Financial Aid Part-time Project Co-ordinator II The Office of Admissions and Financial Aid (OAFA) is a central unit responsible for the University’s undergraduate admissions and administration of University scholarships and financial aid schemes. The appointee will work with a dynamic team on admission matters. The appointee will be engaged in international student recruitment. He/She will be responsible for (a) processing applications; (b) supporting outreach activities and delivering presentations; (c) providing administrative and logistical support; (d) answering enquiries from prospective students; and (e) performing other tasks as assigned. Applicants should have (i) a Bachelor’s degree; (ii) at least 3 years’ post-qualification work experience, preferably at tertiary institutions; (iii) an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Cantonese and Putonghua); (iv) strong organisational, oral presentation, and interpersonal skills; (v) patience in dealing with people and great attention to detail; (vi) the ability to work independently and as a team member; and (vii) a self-motivated work attitude and a strong sense of responsibility. Having experience in student admissions and event management will be advantageous. Appointment will initially be made on a 3-month contract commencing as soon as possible, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
