Bobier Villa is a 57-bed long-term care facility nestled in the community of Dutton in the Municipality of Dutton/Dunwich, just 20 minutes west of London, Ontario. Bobier Villa offers 24-hour nursing care, private and basic accommodation, sitting areas, expansive gardens, a large water feature, and gazebos. Whitelock Place serves as a gathering area for residents, family members and guests and hosts a wide variety of recreational and spiritual programs in a beautiful home-like setting. Position Title: Personal Support Worker (PSW) Type: Permanent, Part-time Compensation: $30.87 – $31.30/hour as per collective agreement About the Role: As a certified Personal Support Worker, you will play a vital role in our residents’ daily lives. You’ll be joining a dedicated care team that works collaboratively to support dignity, safety, and overall well-being through established job routines. Your responsibilities include: Providing personal care such as bathing, dressing, and transfers Assisting with meals and nutrition support Tidying resident rooms and common areas Performing minor treatments and reporting health observations Responding to call bells with attentiveness and empathy Participating in care planning through daily reports Supporting inclusive, respectful, and equitable care delivery Additional duties as assigned Qualifications: Completion of a Personal Support Worker certificate program from a recognized post-secondary institution. Must be willing to further training/education of the Personal Support Worker field through in-services, etc. Proof of registration with the Health and Supportive Care Providers Oversight Authority (HSCPOA) preferred.
