Responsibilities

SUMMARY OF ROLE:

This role will be working under the guidance of our Senior purchase ledger clerk to ensure the smooth and accurate operation of the purchase ledger. This role is ideal for someone with a strong attention to detail who enjoys working in a structured and collaborative environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Registering and posting invoices: Ensure invoices are accurately entered into the system and correctly coded.
  • Assisting with supplier statement reconciliations: Support the supervisor in reconciling supplier accounts and resolving discrepancies
  • Maintaining tidy ledgers: Ensure ledgers are up to date, accurate, and free from errors
  • Chasing and resolving queries: Liaise with suppliers and internal teams to address invoice and payment queries promptly
  • Assist with other ad hoc tasks and support the team during busy periods
