PART-TIME QUALIFIED ACCOUNTANT – SPIRALIS EUROPE LTD (LONDON)

Location: Wenlock Road, London N1 (with flexible remote options)
Hours: 2–3 days per week (part-time)

Spiralis Europe Ltd is a London-based office interiors company specialising in high-end glazed partitions and furniture systems. Known for our avant-garde design solutions, we work closely with architects to bring bold interior concepts to life for clients across the UK, US, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
We are a tight-knit team of twelve and operate from a friendly, modern showroom and office in London N1. As our current accountant transitions to a reduced role, we’re looking for a hands-on, qualified accountant to take ownership of day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping operations.

You’ll work independently but closely with our existing team to manage UK, US, and some European accounting functions. Your responsibilities will include:

• Daily bookkeeping and purchase invoice entry (Sage 50)
• Sales invoice preparation
• Monthly payment runs and CIS returns
• Monthly VAT returns (UK), including duty deferment
• Monthly payroll processing (small team)
• Supporting quarterly management accounts prep
• Liaising with external accountants in the US and Italy
• Maintaining records for our US entity (Spiralis Inc) and US state sales tax filings
