We’re looking for a welcoming, organised, and confident Receptionist / Admin Assistant to be the friendly face at the heart of Metropolitan.
This is more than a front desk role—you’ll be a key part of our community, helping members feel at home, supporting our team behind the scenes, and keeping things running smoothly. From handling daily enquiries to pitching in during our winter sports season or assisting with events, your impact will be felt across the organisation.
This position is ideal for someone looking for part-time hours with a consistent schedule—and the chance to grow over time.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Greeting members, guests, and visitors with a warm, professional welcome
  • Answering calls and emails, managing general and membership enquiries
  • Processing membership applications, renewals, and payments
  • Supporting administrative tasks such as bookings, data entry, and filing
  • Keeping the reception area tidy and inviting
  • Assisting with club-run and smaller private events
  • Helping coordinate winter sports bookings and schedules
  • Working closely with operations and events teams to ensure smooth day-to-day functioning
