About Us: We are a dynamic, multidisciplinary healthcare clinic in Mount Pearl, offering Chiropractic, Physiotherapy, Massage Therapy, Counselling and Kinesiology services. We are looking for a Receptionist/Office Assistant to be part of our front office team.
As a receptionist in an allied health clinic, you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the clinic, including patient coordination, providing excellent customer service and keeping the clinic clean. Your role will be critical in ensuring a smooth clinic experience for both patients and staff.

Position Details:

  • Type: Part-time
  • Hours: Monday to Thursday 3-7pm, Saturdays 9-1pm
  • Compensation: $18.00 - $19.50 per hour depending on experience
  • Experience: At least 1 year in a receptionist/administrative role in a healthcare setting (preferred)

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and welcome patients in a courteous and professional manner
  • Schedule patient appointments, including follow-ups and cancellations
  • Answer and direct phone calls and emails promptly, maintaining a professional tone
  • Process patient payments and handle billing inquiries
  • Assist patients with completing forms and provide information on services offered
  • Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with clinic policies and relevant laws
  • Update patient records and file documentation according to clinic procedures
  • Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and welcoming at all times
  • Assist with administrative tasks, including organizing and ordering office supplies and handling cash
  • Maintain and operate clinic software systems (e.g., Telus Portal, Jane App)
  • Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals regarding patient needs and concerns

Ideal Candidate:

  • 1 year or more experience as a receptionist, preferably in a healthcare setting
  • Strong communication skills, both in-person and over the phone
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Suite and general office technology
  • Detail-oriented, with the ability to manage a variety of tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of clinic management software such as Jane App or Telus Portal is a strong asset
  • Enthusiastic about health and wellness and helping patients achieve their goals

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00-$19.50 per hour
Expected hours: 16 per week
