First impressions matter. As a Part-time Receptionist you play a pivotal role in setting the tone for every interaction. You are the first face and first conversation visitors to The Farndon Unit in Newark, Nottinghamshire will experience. Your warm and friendly personality will shine through as you greet and assist staff, visitors and service users.

Responsibilities:

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

In this exciting role at The Farndon Unit, a service which provides services across low secure, rehabilitation and acute inpatient settings for women with mental health and personality disorder diagnoses.
Each day brings different challenges and experiences. Working 14.25 a week (Working 6 days on, 6 days off between 5:30pm - 9:45pm) along side the reception team your key responsibilities will be welcoming all visitors in a friendly manner, co-ordinating the office diary for meetings and events and efficiently handling telephone calls, emails and post.
Ensuring the safety and security of service users, staff and visitors is a top priority. You’ll oversee visitor sign ins, conduct security checks and manage the distribution of keys and security badges.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL HAVE:

  • GCSE English Language Grade C or above
  • Be efficient and enthusiastic
