Responsibilities

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

In this exciting role at The Spinney, a service for male patients with personality disorder and/or mental illness each day brings different challenges and experiences. Ensuring the safety and security of service users, staff and visitors is a top priority. You’ll oversee visitor sign ins, conduct security checks and manage the distribution of keys and security badges.
Working part time along side the reception team your key responsibilities will be welcoming all visitors in a friendly manner, co-ordinating the office diary for meetings and events and efficiently handling telephone calls, emails and post.
Position 1: 22.5 hours per week, working Tuesday 12:30pm to 8:30pm - Friday 12:30pm – 8:30pm - Sunday 7am to 2:30pm
Position 2: 15 hours per week, working Saturday 12:30pm – 8:30pm - Sunday 12:30pm to 8:30pm

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:

  • Have previous experience in a similar position
  • Have computer skills
  • have good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Be professional, confident and diplomatic
  • have GCSE English Language Grade C or above
  • Be efficient and enthusiastic
  • Have awareness of understanding confidentiality and security
  • Have the ability work alongside a team and independently
  • Be welcoming and self-motivated
