REQUIREMENTS

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • A professional, friendly, and positive attitude with a strong sense of discretion and confidentiality
  • Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel ,Outlook, etc.)
  • Good phone etiquette is essential while accurately taking messages and conveying them promptly to other members of the team as appropriate.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
  • A proactive approach and the ability to work on your own initiative
  • Excellent grooming and dress standards are expected.
  • Previous experience in a reception/customer service or administrative role is desirable but not essential .
  • Must be reliable.
Responsibilities

THE ROLE:

We are seeking to recruit a part-time experienced Receptionist for evenings, weekends and Bank Holidays for our busy main reception desk, some flexibility in shifts can be accommodated in advance of rostering.
Our reception staff play an important role within our organisation . In this position you will be expected to carry out your duties in a diligent and professional manner with a friendly and efficient outgoing attitude.
It is important that you work well with all the other members of our team to ensure that our service operates smoothly and to a high standard of professionalism and offering excellent customer service for residents’ visitors , customers, and employees.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide Front desk support to residents, customers and visitors
  • Welcome and greet visitors promptly upon their arrival in a courteous and professional manner and ensure they are assisted appropriately.
  • Ability to multi-task to effectively handle administrative tasks during and between phones calls.
  • Maintain a well-organised reception and waiting area
  • Maintain a strong sense of discretion and confidentiality for all activities in the line of your duty
  • Answering and directing phone calls and handling general enquiries
  • Managing appointments and maintaining the reception diary
  • Scanning , Filing, Photocopying and other general administrative duties
  • Handling some incoming and outgoing mail
  • Handling payments
  • Providing general administrative support to the wider team.
