Are you an experienced and dedicated office based professional seeking a fulfilling role in a dynamic healthcare setting? We are looking for a reliable individual to join our team at the Ipswich Spine Clinic as a Receptionist. You will play a key role in supporting our chiropractors, ensuring the smooth operation of the clinic creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere for our patients.
Important Information:
Please note, this position is best suited for someone with flexibility in their schedule. It is not ideal for students or individuals with other work or fixed commitments, as the role requires covering holidays and sickness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome patients warmly, efficiently and ensure they feel comfortable
  • Assist with confidential patient paperwork and ensure records are accurately maintained
  • Handle administrative tasks, including telephone, scheduling, and front desk management
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing patient inquiries and concerns
  • Ensure the clinic is hygienic, organized, and welcoming

What We’re Looking For:

  • Strong written, communication and interpersonal skills, both in person and on the telephone
  • Further education within healthcare or hospitality preferred
  • Previous experience in a healthcare or hospitality service role is essential
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Strong attention to detail with discretion when managing records and paperwork
  • A caring and compassionate approach towards patients
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Competence with computer applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Familiarity with chiropractic terminology is beneficial (full training will be provided)

Key Information:
We are dedicated to creating a flexible shift pattern that suits both your needs and the clinic’s. The role offers a minimum of 16.00 hours per week.

Typical shifts include:

  • Monday to Friday: 8:00AM – 1:30 PM / 1:30 PM – 6.30/9.00 PM

You may also be required to provide additional cover for holidays and sickness at both clinics.

  • Microsoft Outlook: 1 year (preferred)
  • Telephony: 1 year (preferred)
  • Administrative experience: 1 year (preferred)

  • English written and verbal (required)
