We are currently seeking a friendly, organized, and dependable Receptionist to join our team on a part-time basis.

POSITION SUMMARY

As the first point of contact for potential clients, existing clients and visitors, the Receptionist plays a vital role in creating a welcoming and professional environment. This position is ideal for someone who is personable, detail-oriented, wants work life balance and enjoys supporting a busy legal office.

QUALIFICATIONS

· Previous experience in a receptionist or administrative support role (law office experience an asset but not required)
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) and Adobe
· Proficiency with Clio Legal Software is an asset but not required
· Ability to learn new software programs
· Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
· Reliable, punctual, and professional
· Discretion and confidentiality are essential
· 2 weeks paid holidays once the probationary period is passed

Responsibilities

· Greet clients and visitors with a warm, professional demeanor
· Answer, screen, and direct phone calls and emails
· Act as intake coordinator for new potential clients
· Schedule appointments and manage calendars
· Receive and distribute incoming mail and deliveries
· Maintain a tidy and organized front office and reception area
· Provide general administrative support to legal staff (e.g., filing, scanning, photocopying)
· Assist with document preparation as directed
