Description The Reconditioning Tech is responsible for washing and vacuuming vehicles in a timely and efficient manner. The Reconditioning Tech exhibits superior customer service at all times. PAY: Up to $20+/hr average (Pay per piece) SCHEDULE: Part time-Flexible (example M,T,W 4-9pm) 1. Provide efficient and courteous service to all customers at all times. 2. Always exhibit ‘hands on’ direct and professional approach with customers. 3. Alignment of vehicles for auction block in the proper order. 4. Administer minor adjustments to vehicles to ensure operation (boosting, filling gas tank, lock-outs, etc.) 5. Washing the exterior of auction vehicles to include the tires, wheel rims and covers as well as the application of wheel gloss. 6. Removal of all debris from the auction vehicles. 7. Washing and cleaning the interior of the auction vehicles to include the washing of windows inside and out, cleaning ashtrays and glove box and the wipe down of all interior surfaces and dress. 8. Accurate completion of all paperwork in a timely manner. 9. Work well independently as well as a team player 10. Timely communication of issues that may be deemed as detrimental to the success of operations to Management. 11. Clean and maintain workspace and equipment 12. Performs other duties as necessary Requirements General qualifications and requirements Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools - must be able to lift up to 60 pounds independently Must be at least 21 years of age and possess a valid driver's license. Some positions may be subject to an Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) check An ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing production environment while sometimes being exposed to excessive weather conditions (heat/cold) Use of safety equipment that may include but not limited to face shield or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, mask, and other protective garments and equipment
