REGISTERED NURSE (RN) SUPERVISOR - HOME HEALTH CARE

Location: San Diego, CA (In-Person role)
Salary Range: $50-$52/hour (based on experience)
Job Type: Part-time
Schedule: Flexible, 10-20 hours/week
BrightStar Care, a nationally recognized home care services, is seeking a compassionate, experienced, and forward-thinking Nurse Manager to lead our clinical team.

QUALIFICATIONS:

License:

• Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in California (Required)

EDUCATION

• Bachelor’s degree (Required)
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited program (Highly Preferred)

• Supervise and coach our care-giving team, promoting high standards of care.
• Plans and implements in-service and training programs.
• Conduct initial and follow-up nursing assessments to determine individualized care needs.
• Case Management - Prepares patient care plan and reviews summaries of patient care.
• Reviews the maintenance of client reports and records for purposes of evaluation and reporting of organization activities.
• Ensure client care plans, and regulatory compliance meet local, state, and federal requirements.
• Assists leadership team in the development of organization goals.
• Develops, recommends, and administers agency policies and procedures.
• Stay current on home care regulations, best practices, and industry trends.
• Actively promote BrightStar Care services within the healthcare community.
• Provides care as defined within the scope of California’s Nurse Practice Act.
• Stays informed about changes in the field of nursing and home care. Shares information with appropriate organization personnel.
