Description We are seeking an experienced Part-time Registered Nurse (RN) to join our surgical team. You will play a vital role in preparing and monitoring patients through procedures involving local and IV sedation, ensuring their safety, comfort, and quality care. This position is ideal for a skilled RN who brings both technical expertise and a patient-focused approach to surgical care. Responsibilities Prepare patients for surgical procedures involving local and IV sedation in accordance with physician orders and clinical protocols. Assess and monitor patients during preoperative, perioperative, and postoperative stages in line with facility policies and procedures. Collaborate with oral surgeons and anesthesia providers to support safe and effective surgical care. Employ strategies to promote health and a safe, compliant clinical environment. Maintain strict patient confidentiality and uphold the highest standards of professionalism and ethics. Perform additional duties as assigned to support clinical operations and patient care. Requirements Minimum of 1 year of RN experience in an acute or critical care setting (e.g., Med-Surg, ICU, or Surgery). Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required. Active, unencumbered RN license. Strong IV insertion and management skills. Highly detail-oriented, reliable, and patient-focused. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
