we are looking for a part time releif cook for our small care home in Shelton lock hours are 8am -2 pm this is to cover holidays and sickness cover for our other cooks, you must be able to bake cakes, pastry and cook wholesome traditional foods you must have time management and be able to follow food hygiene and keep the kitchen clean at all times you must be able to speak and understand english ,some of the duties are

  • Prepare and cook fresh food from scratch makeing roast and pies and including making cakes /puddings as per menu choice.
  • Ensure all food/ meals are produced on time
  • Prepare food in accordance with all guidelines and legislations
  • Ensure that the kitchen, equipment and utensils are all properly cleaned and correctly stored away
  • Responsible for the presentation of all produced and served
  • Work to respond to changing dietary requirements
  • Monitor and organize stock levels at all time
  • Maintain temperature control standards for all food
  • Ensure that all personal and food hygiene procedures are applied at all times.
  • Ensure all paperwork is completed.

Pay: £12.21 per hour
Expected hours: 6 – 24 per week
