Description Applications for a part time teaching position are now being accepted for the 2025-2026 school year. The position will require teaching classes, Monday-Friday at the secondary level. The position will teach religion classes for 8th-12th grades. San Marcos Academy services students in pre-kindergarten-12th grade. Job Requirements: • Teach religion classes part time, instruction in the Old Testament and the New Testament at the upper school level • Serve as a role model for students • Observe policies, procedures, and directives from school administration • Integrate technology into curriculum delivery • Implement effective classroom and behavior management skills • Keep student management system up-to-date with grades and lesson plans • Manage and control support materials (curriculum manipulatives and technology devices) used throughout the year • Work collegially with peers • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor Specific Benefits: • Class sizes are small • Students are highly motivated • Opportunity to work with international students • Teaching schedule follows the school calendar for holidays Compensation: Determined by experience Start Date: August 2026 Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in subject area (Bible, Theology, Religion) • 24 College hours in the teaching discipline • Teaching certification (preferred) • 2 years teaching experience (preferred) • Possess basic computer skills • Additional qualifications may be required for specific positions
