We are now looking for a suitable person to fill the following position in the School of Open Learning: Major Duties and Responsibilities The appointee will be responsible mainly for the following: Developing and hosting workshops and seminars for distance learning students; Developing, writing, and editing training and teaching materials, particularly for programmes in a distance learning context; Writing and preparing research proposals and grant applications; Assisting in the promotion of research in open and innovative education through various channels; and Performing other duties as assigned. Candidates Candidates should possess the following qualifications, experience and competence: A master’s degree or above, preferably in Education, Communication, Sustainability, or a related field, with a strong track record of research and publications; Proven experience in teaching, corporate training, and material development, preferably with exposure to distance or online learning environments; Very good command of English and Chinese; and Good organizational, presentation and interpersonal skills.
