We are now looking for a suitable person to fill the following position in the School of Nursing and Health Sciences: Major Duties and Responsibilities The appointee will mainly assist the research team in a research project, “In Vitro and In Vivo Study of Gold Nanoparticles and Gold Nanoparticle-Carbapenem Combinations to Combat Carbapenem-Resistant Escherichia coli and Klebsiella pneumoniae Isolates in Hong Kong"(R6810). The appointee will be responsible mainly for the following: Conducting experimental research as instructed by the Investigator(s); Performing data analysis, assisting in report writing and presentation of the results; Assisting in literature searching; and Carrying out other research activities as instructed by the Principal Investigator. He/she will be normally assigned to work not more than 17 hours per week. Candidates Candidates should possess the following qualifications, experience and competence: A Bachelor's degree or above in Life Sciences, Biomedical Sciences, Medical Laboratory Science or a related discipline; Experience in molecular or microbiology laboratory technique, as well as knowledge in next generation sequencing, is preferred; Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese; Familiar with current scientific literature in the field of medical microbiology; and Self-motivated and meticulous, and be able to meet deadlines and work independently.
