We are now looking for a suitable person to fill the following position in the School of Nursing and Health Sciences: Major Duties and Responsibilities The appointee will assist Principal Investigator in the research project “Establishment of an Exergaming Research Centre (ERC) for Healthy Aging (Project no.: R6586)”. The appointee will be responsible mainly for the following: Recruiting of participants for research projects; Data collecting and data input for research projects; Blood taking for research projects; and Undertaking such other duties as determined by project team members or managers. The candidate will work for not more than 68 hours per 4 consecutive weeks. Candidates Candidates should possess the following qualifications, experience and competence: For technical assistant: at least 5 subjects with Level 2 in HKDSE or equivalent, including English & Chinese languages and Mathematics; For research assistant II: a Bachelor degree in the broad area of Biological, Health or Physical Sciences (e.g. Biology, Nursing) preferred; Certification for phlebotomy is a must; A good command of Chinese and English; Previous experience in programming or data collection; and Preference will be given to those with experience in handling biological specimens or working with human subjects for research studies.
