For more information about the University, please visit https://www.hkmu.edu.hk We are now looking for a suitable person to fill the following position in the School of Arts and Social Sciences: Major Duties and Responsibilities The appointee will assist the Principal Investigator in the research project “A pilot study of the experience of education-to-work transition from a class perspective: The case of social sciences students in higher education in the Hong Kong SAR” (Project No.: PFDS/2025/13). The appointee will be responsible mainly for the following: literature review; data collection (mainly using qualitative interviews); transcription of qualitative interviews; data management and analysis; and any other duties as assigned by the Principal Investigator. Candidates Candidates should possess the following qualifications, experience and competence: a recognised Bachelor’s degree or above in Social Sciences or related disciplines; and an excellent command of written English and be able to speak Cantonese. Experience in conducting qualitative data collection and qualitative data analysis will be an advantage. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply. They should also have a strong sense of responsibility and be able to work independently. Duration of Appointment Successful candidate will work no more than 17 hours per week for the period between December 2025 and November 2026.
