We are now looking for a suitable person to fill the following position in the School of Nursing and Health Sciences: Major Duties and Responsibilities The appointee will assist the Principal Investigator in coordinating a research project on acceptance and commitment therapy for supporting quality of life in patients with chronic pain. The appointee will be responsible mainly for the following: conducting literature reviews on relevant topics; recruiting research participants; assisting in conducting intervention; assisting in data collection; performing quantitative and/or qualitative data analysis; and providing research-related assistance. He/she will be normally assigned to work not more than 17 hours per week. Candidates Candidates should possess the following qualifications, experience, and competence A recognized Bachelor’s degree or DSE/diploma in psychology, healthcare, social science, statistics or related disciplines; proficient in MS Office Words, Excel, and PowerPoint; proficient in SPSS and managing personal monitoring devices will be an advantage; a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese; and a good team player and able to coordinate research projects independently. Duration of Appointment Successful candidates will be appointed on a part-time contract for up to 11 months, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability.
